This Week's Pet: Poppy!

"Ready to spice up your life? The name is Jalapeno Popper, but my friends call me Poppy, and we're friends, aren't we? I think humans are the best thing EVER. No, seriously, I'm a people dog, through and through. I spent time in a foster home, and my foster family reported I'm crate trained, housebroken, and my favorite spot was on the couch with them. I love people sooo much that I don't want to share attention with other pets, please and thank you! I love exploring out in nature and going on long hikes, and I've been working really hard on my leash manners. I'm a fun-loving, loyal guy who cannot wait to spend forever with you. Let's meet!"

Alachua County Animal Resources is located at 3400 NE 53^rd Ave in Gainesville. They are open for adoptions Tuesday through Saturday between 10:30 am and 5:30 pm. Dog Adoption Fees are only $40, Cat Adoption Fees are only $20.
